Implementation of 2nd phase of ‘Start Your Dream’ project begins in Aswan

CAIRO – 21 January 2021: The General Authority for Culture Palaces has started implementing the second phase of the "Start Your Dream" project in Aswan Governorate. The project is organized by the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs.

The second phase of the project is being implemented in five governorates: Beni Suef, Kafr El Sheikh, Port Said, Giza and Aswan.

"Start your dream" is one of the projects implemented by the authority in the governorates to discover, support and nurture young artistic talents.

It aims to foster the energies of youth in the various regions of Egypt to enrich the theater field, as it is one of the methods of raising awareness and developing society. It provides a real opportunity for all talented young people in several fields, including acting, directing, composing, dancing, singing, drawing, decoration and production; this is in addition to discovering and supporting talents in the theatrical field using specialized scientific training methods to prepare a comprehensive actor, and forming a theater group from the graduates.

Acceptance tests are held for the second phase of the project after the end of the application period, as the preparation of trainees continues for a period of 6 months from March to August, provided that the projects that graduate the new batches are carried out during September and October.
