Book Fair at Fayoum Culture Branch concludes on Jan. 21

CAIRO – 20 January 2021: The General Authority for Cultural Palaces in the Fayoum Culture Branch concludes on January 21 the activities of the Book Fair, which launched on January 11.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Department of General Culture in the branch presented a symposium entitled "Issues and Obstacles to Publishing," attended by Mohammad Gamal al-Din and writer Ahmed Toson.

It dealt with publishing issues facing the creator, the pros and cons of publishing in government and private institutions, and how to solve them.

That is in addition to an evening entitled "Fayoum Theater, Achievements and Failures" by theater director Ezzat Zain and theater artist Mahmoud Abdel Moati.

It revolved around the most important theatrical works that were presented in Fayoum throughout the history of Fayoumi theater, as well as the obstacles facing theater makers in Fayoum and the mechanisms of solutions.
