Swiss handball team visits Giza Pyramids on Jan. 17

CAIRO - 18 January 2021: The Great Pyramids area received the Swiss handball team participating in the 27th edition of the 2021 World Handball Championship for Men, which Egypt is hosting from January 13 to 31.

 

 

The Swiss team was keen to visit the pyramids, the Sphinx and the panorama area, while adhering to the precautionary measures and health safety controls imposed by the International Handball Federation for members of the participating teams and those for visiting archaeological sites and museums in Egypt.

 

They also took memorial photos and was amazed by the ancient Egyptian history.
