CAIRO – 13 January 2021: Cinematic activities organized by the National Center for Cinema, in cooperation with El-Sawy Culture Wheel, will resume on January 13 at 7 p.m. Awad Shukry's documentary film "El-Khal", and Sherine Talaat's "El-Sameton Yatakalamon” [The Muted Talk], will be screened.
"El-Khal" deals with the biography of the national and literary character of Abdel Rahman Al-Abnoudi.
As for "The Muted Talk", produced by the National Center for Cinema, it deals with the history of the Silent Dance Theater Company, whose founder, Reda Abdel Aziz, was able to make its deaf and mute members feel the different rhythms of music and dance brilliantly to them.
The film documents the band's creative state to convey the voice of the silent people and their determination to be heard and felt by the world.
Organized by the National Center for Critical Cinema, the cinematic activities will continue until the end of January, and are held every Wednesday at El-Sawy Culture wheel, where a group of films produced by the National Film Center are scheduled to be screened.
