Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture & Arts opens door for nominations for 2nd Arts Awards

CAIRO – 13 January 2021: The Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts announced the opening of the nomination for the 2nd Arts Awards 2021 in the fields of photography – architecture, as of January 15, 2021.

Applications for nomination for the second round of the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts are submitted through the competition registration page on the Internet, which can be accessed via the following link:

With regard to the architecture competition, it has been decided that the entries will be made available to Egyptian architects of no more than 40 years of age, and the prize value is L.E100, 000 divided as follows:

L.E 50,000 for the winner of the first place.

L.E 30,000 for the winner of the second place.

L.E 20,000 for the winner of the third place.

As for the photography competition, it has been decided that the entries will be available to Egyptian photographers from the age of 18 to 35 years, and the prize value is L.E100,000 divided as follows:

L.E 50,000 for the winner of the first place.

L.E 30,000 for the winner of the second place.

L.E 20,000 for the winner of the third place.

It is worth noting that the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts had decided to increase the number of branches of its annual competition in its second round to 5 branches, which included painting, plastic art criticism, sculpture, photography, and architecture.
