El-Horreya Creativity Center calls on Alexandrian creators to participate in "Alexandrian Creativity Status Report" project

CAIRO – 4 January 2020: The El-Horreya Creativity Center in Alexandria, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund sector, invited all Alexandrian creators to participate with their works in the "Alexandrian Creativity Status Report" project to document Alexandrians creative works during the year 2020.

The project aims to monitor all creative activities that took place in Alexandria or presented by Alexandrian creators with the aim of counting them, classifying them and analyzing their implications to achieve objective indicators that can be used in all cultural fields.

The center's statement issued on Monday said: “The need for such a report appears in the absence of updated statistics or databases in all areas of Alexandrian creativity.”

It continued: "In view of the privileged position of the El-Horreya Creativity Center as a platform for all creative people in Alexandria, the invitation was directed to participate and register in the database for the report on the creative status in Alexandria Governorate through the form on the website and the official page of the center on Facebook.”

“We are also seeking to communicate with the authorities concerned with monitoring cultural and artistic production. The report will be published on paper and made available electronically during the current year 2021 to be the base and an annual tradition that starts from the center.”
