Picasso Art Gallery hosts “White Frame” exhibition for Gamal Fahmy on Jan. 3

CAIRO – 3 January 2020: Journalist and artist, Gamal Fahmy, will open his second exhibition, "White Frame", on January 3, at the Picasso Art Gallery in Zamalek.

Fahmy takes in his exhibition, a direction that combines the abstract and the influential, with works belonging to the still nature, such as flower pots.

The general feature of all the exhibition works, which continues until January 16, combines various contradictions, synonymous with the contradictions of life, such as the “good and evil”, “ugliness and beauty”, “joy and sadness”, “sweet and bitter”, and “hope and despair”.

However, our desire to continue life prompts us to comprehend it with its contradictions. The plastic surrogate of this meaning was the insistence on continuing life with all its components, which was translated by the title chosen by Fahmy for his exhibition, "White Frame".
