CAIRO – 31 December 2020: On December 31, a number of cultural and artistic events will be held in a number of creative centers.

The Supreme Council of Culture announced the deadline for submission and nomination for the State Awards in Arts, Literature and Social Sciences for 2021.

The Civilization Cinema Hall at the Egyptian Opera House will witness a poetry evening under the title "A Forum for Female Creativity", at 5 p.m.

The National Cinema Center is holding the first screening of the feature film "Virus", at the Creativity Center at the Egyptian Opera House, at 6:30 p.m.

The screening of the film comes within the framework of the National Film Center's support for young filmmakers.

The screening of the film will be held in the presence of its director Osama Omar and its producer, Sherif el-Salamouny.

The screening of the film will be followed by a seminar run by the film critic Shahenda Mohammad Ali to discuss the film with its makers and the public.
