Cultural, artistic events of the day

CAIRO – 30 December 2020: On December 30, 2020, a number of cultural and artistic events will be held in a number of creative centers, including the continuation of the art exhibitions at the Museum of Islamic Art, a meeting with the poet Fatima Okasha, and the screening of films in "The Classics of Documentary Cinema".

The Poetry Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, as part of the activities of the “Everyday a Poet” series, is organizing a meeting with poet Fatma Okasha from Tunisia, to read a poem entitled: "Are You Asking Me?" at 6 p.m.

The Film Culture Center, affiliated to the National Film Center, presents "Classics of Documentary Cinema" at 6:00 p.m., at the center's headquarters, as part of the center’s program for the month of December.

Last but not least, the activities of the two art exhibitions, entitled "Treasures of Lead", will continue at the Museum of Islamic Art, and the exhibition "From Bab Al Khalq to Heliopolis", at Baron Empain Palace, on the occasion of the 117th anniversary of the opening of the Museum of Islamic Art.
