National Theater to host memorial service of late Mahmoud Yassin on Dec. 19

CAIRO – 17 December 2020: The National Theater will witness on December 19 at 8:00 p.m., a memorial service for the late renowned artist Mahmoud Yassin, which is organized by the artistic house of the theater, represented by the National Theater, in the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem.

The celebration includes the screening of a documentary film produced by the National Center for Theater, Music and Popular Arts, portraying the life story of the late actor.

It will be followed by a theatrical performance entitled "The Dream" written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will honor the late artist Mahmoud Yassin, in appreciation of his artistic and creative career, whose works remain despite his departure.

On the sidelines of the celebration, an art exhibition will be held that deals with some photographs of the most important stages of the late artist's life.
