CAIRO – 17 December 2020: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will witness the celebrations of the World Arabic Language Day organized by the ministry's sectors represented by the Supreme Council of Culture within the initiative of Cultural Relations and the National Center for Translation.

 

She will also follows up through visual communication the activities organized by the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome, on December 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

The celebrations include the participation of a group of ambassadors of foreign countries who are fluent in the Arabic language to talk about their experience with the language of “Dhad”.

 

They are the ambassadors of Indonesia, Britain, Poland, Austria, South Korea, Japan and Greece, whom their speech comes as part of the Cultural Relations initiative organized by the Supreme Council of Culture in cooperation with the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector.

 

As for the celebration of the National Center for Translation, it includes screenings of the achievements of Egyptian translators translating foreign languages ​​into the Arabic language, in addition to an artistic performance for the Talent Development Choir team of the Egyptian Opera House.

 

The activities of the celebrations extend to the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome under the slogan “A Day in Love of the Arabic Language”, which will be available Online at 10 a.m.

 

It begins with the introduction of the World Arabic Language Day and the reasons for choosing this day every year.
