Cairo – July 1: Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek trends on Twitter and Google searches just hours after an alleged live video from her Instagram account on Saturday.

The video showed Ghada lying on a bed while talking to her followers in a live video, but parts of her body appeared to be naked. While the video was deleted from her account, parts of the video and screenshots were widely spread online, as reported by Vetogate.

When checking the actress’s Instagram account, all the comments on her recent videos and pictures have been deleted.

While most of the tweets were satirical comments about the video, some made note of the change in trending topics from the raised fuel prices in Egypt to Ghada’s video. A Twitter account with the name Hamada tweeted “people talk about Ghada Abdelrazik instead of fuel and solar... people are tired.”

The head of the Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate, Ashraf Zaky, reported to Vetogate that they are preparing for any necessary actions that may need to be taken and are attempting to contact the actress.
In regards to her own plans, Ghada told media, “I’ll Issue a press release once I’m back to Cairo, to clarify everything that was published about me in social media.” She further explained that she plans to file a police report because the video was “fabricated” citing the fact that Instagram doesn’t have a service allowing a live video with direct chats with followers, which the videos spread online show.
As it happened before during the wedding of her daughter Rotana, Ghada mentioned that she is used to these things happening from time to time and doesn’t really care.
Ghada continues to post on Instagram, including her Saturday morning post of two videos for her grandchild Khadiga while holding a baby bird.

Ghada is currently spending her vacation with her family in the Maldives. She travelled after she finished shooting her TV Series “Ard Gaw” that was aired during the month of Ramadan. And she is expected to return Cairo after three days.
