CAIRO – 8 December 2020: On December 8, the official page of the Giza Culture Branch of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces published an article entitled "Clay, the Boxing Legend."

It included a quote from his most famous aphorism, prepared by Yara Zarzour, the article dealt with glimpses of the life of the legend Clay who has been on the throne of boxing for nearly twenty years.

His real name was Cassius Clay, before he converted to Islam and changed his name to Mohammad Ali.

He championed the causes of black Muslims and became the spiritual leader of millions of blacks and a symbol of hope, pride and challenge.

He took a controversial stand when he refused to join the American army to participate in the war on Vietnam, saying, "I will not fight people who did not harm me and the Vietnamese never called me a n**ger."

It is what led to him being deprived of his title and from playing any match in the United States and from traveling anywhere outside the country.
