5th Arab Publishers’ Association Conference launches on Dec. 1

CAIRO – 30 November 2020: The activities of the Fifth Annual Conference of the Arab Publishers Association will virtually launch on December 1, under the title "Content Industry and Challenges".

Head of the Arab Publishers Association Mohamed Rashad, stressed the importance of holding the conference despite all the difficulties that the publishing world suffers due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, that led to the cessation of most Arab book fairs.

Rashad said that the conference will bring together publishers throughout the Arab world as "unknown soldiers of culture who have proven themselves over the past years despite the challenges," indicating that the conference will address the obstacles that are now faced by the publishing industry, and what constructive content all Arab publishers are keen on.
