VIDEO: 5th “Treasures of Our Museums” art exhibition concludes on Nov. 30

CAIRO – 30 November 2020: The fifth exhibition in the series of “Treasures of our Museums”  exhibitions, that was held under the title "Selections of European Art", at the Aisha Fahmy Palace in Zamalek concludes on November 30.

The exhibition included selections of more than 100 artworks selected from the private collections of the El-Gezira Museum, Mahmoud Khalil Museum and Fine Arts Museum in Alexandria, and varied between oil painting and sculptures of a group of international creators.

At the opening, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem expressed her happiness at the resumption of art exhibitions’ activity and indicated that the series of exhibitions of the “Treasures of Our Museums” provides the opportunity to rediscover the plastic creations that tell parts of the story of the artistic history of human civilization.

It is worth noting that many ministers and ambassadors visited the exhibition, most notably Farouk Hosni, the former Minister of Culture, who praised the exhibition and its display scenario.
