CAIRO – 29 November 2020: The activities of the eighth Scientific Conference of the General Administration for Women’s Culture, affiliated to the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, will kick off under the title “Egyptian Women and Creativity: A Future Vision”, at the Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University, during the period from December 6 to 8.
The conference is chaired by Hana Shuwaikh, professor of psychology.
On December 6, the conference program includes the opening of an art exhibition of the products of women’s management. Then the first research session will be held at 11:30 am entitled "Creativity in Women - the concept, dimensions, characteristics, the most important psychological issues, and problems", led by Khaled Mahmoud Abdel Wahab. The session will include three research papers.
As for the second day, December 7, the second research session will be held under the title "Social and Cultural Challenges of Egyptian Women", moderated by Soheir Safwat, and it includes 3 research papers.
Then the third research session will be held under the title “Creativity among Egyptian Women from the Perspective of an Artistic Historical Vision”, moderated by Ayman Amer, and it includes 3 researches, followed by a panel discussion entitled "Supportive Factors in Spreading Cultural Creativity".
On the third day, December 8th, the fourth research session will be held, entitled "Creativity and the Challenge of Disability in Egyptian Women", moderated by Khaled Galal. It includes 3 researches.
Then a storytelling workshop will be held entitled "My experience of Female Creativity, Between Challenges and Achievements: Pioneering Models in the Field of Creativity".
