Al-Sennari House hosts free Mandala Art workshop for youth on Nov. 16

CAIRO - 15 November 2020: The Al-Sennari House of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a free workshop for youth of both genders to learn the Mandala Art on November 16 at 5 p.m.

The workshop focuses on introducing the Mandala art which is made up of squares intertwined with each other, circular shapes that appear to have no beginning or end, in addition to other shapes that include squares and circles, as well as the stages of implementing the Mandala drawing, starting with drawing a circle and determining its center, and how to maintain the symmetry and consistency of the drawing, and repeat the motifs around the center and their coloring.

The workshop aims to teach the participants a hobby and craft. Its capital is simple for those who want to do a small project and for everyone who has a hobby of handicrafts.

Also, drawing a mandala is a way to add psychological comfort to a person and extract artistic energy in a different and easy way, as it is more like yoga exercises.

The workshop will be held while applying all precautionary measures set by the state to battle COVID-19.
