"Abi Taht el-Shaggara" play launches on Al-Salam Theater on Nov. 12

CAIRO - 11 November 2020: The first night of the theatrical performance "Abi Taht el-Shaggara" [My Father Under the Tree] will launch on November 12, in Al-Salam Theater at 8 p.m.

The show will be staged on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays of every week at 7 p.m.

The show is produced by the Modern Theater Company, affiliated to the Art House of Theater. 

"Abi Taht el-Shaggara" revolves around the idea of family disintegration through a father who travels in pursuit of his livelihood, leaving his family behind, and the resulting negative impact on the family, especially the children.

The show stars Hani Kamal, Lubna el-Sheikh, Mounir Makram, Shady Asaad, Dina Haridi, Ahmed Abdel Hadi and Doaa Ramadan.

It is written by Tarek Ramadan and directed by Islam Imam.
