Egypt's Teatro Afaq to host “Bury the Dead” for Irwin Shaw on Nov. 21

CAIRO – 5 November 2020: On November 21 at 6 p.m., the Teatro Afaq will host the theatrical performance "Bury the Dead", directed by Ihab Salem.

"Bury the Dead" is written by Irwen Shaw, starring Shorouk Hussam el-Din, Amy Ibrahim, Kholoud Mohamed, Farah Youssef, Mahmoud el-Shami and Mahmoud Abbas.

The play “Bury the Dead” (1936) is an expressionist and anti-war drama by the American playwright Irwin Shaw. It illustrates the refusal of six deceased soldiers during an unspecified war to be buried.
