CAIRO – 3 November 2020: The General Administration for Women’s Culture is holding the Eighth Cultural Forum for Border Women at the Sharm El-Sheikh Culture Palace, during the period from November 14 – 19.
This comes within the framework of the directives of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, to intensify artistic and cultural activities, to raise women's awareness, and within the "People of Egypt" project.
The forum will host 65 females, ten from each governorate, from the border governorates of North and South Sinai, Matrouh, New Valley, Aswan, Halayeb and Shalateen, with the aim of integrating their different cultures, customs and traditions.
The participants in the forum must be no less than 18 years, and not more than 30 years old. They must be distinguished girls in one of the literary or artistic fields, that they also frequent the cultural sites of the authority, and have an active role in them.
The participants are required to send to the General Administration of Women’s Culture the following information: Name, age, national number and phone number.
The participants must ensure that they have not been around any person infected with COVID-19 in the fifteen days prior to their participation.
