CAIRO – 2 November 2020: A number of cultural and artistic events will be held in various creative centers on November 2, including the conclusion of the International Poetry Festival in Tanta and the Lebanese star Assi el-Hallani's concert in Cairo Opera House.
November 2 marks the closing ceremony of the sixth Tanta International Poetry Festival, which kicked off on October 30. The ceremony will be held on the theater of Tanta Cultural Center while adhering to all precautionary measures held by the state to battle COVID-19.
The Hanager Arts Center (Cinema Hall) of the Cultural Development Fund holds film screenings for children and youth from the embassies of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary at 7 p.m.
Morever, Al-Sennari House, affiliated to the Cultural Communication Sector at the Library of Alexandria, is organizing a free workshop to teach the art of thread embroidery.
Lebanese star Assi El-Hallani performs a concert within the activities of the Arab Music Festival, at the Fountain Theater of the Cairo Opera House.
Also, Damanhour Opera House is hosting the activities of the 29th Arab Music Festival organized by the Egyptian Opera House at 8 p.m. The concert will be performed by three female stars of the opera house: Radwa Saeed, Reem Hamdy and Rehab Omar, and will be led by Maestro Salah Ghobashy.
