CAIRO – 1 November 2020: A number of cultural and artistic events will be held in a number of cultural centers.
The events include the inauguration of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Magdy Saber, head of Egypt’s Opera House, the activities of the 29th Arab Music Festival and Conference, commemoration of the death anniversary of Louis Awad and opening of the exhibition "Young Plastic Artists 2".
Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, and Head of Egypt’s Opera House Magdy Saber, will launch the activities of the 29th Arab Music Festival and Conference, in the presence of the artist Jehan Morsi, director of the festival and conference, on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m., at the Fountain Theater in Cairo’s Opera.
The festival’s activities will run for 10 days in various theaters of the Egyptian Opera. It includes 29 concerts with the participation of 93 artists from 5 Arab countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Tunisia.
The House of Arabic Poetry [Beit el-Sit Wassila] affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund, is setting up the salon of the poet Ahmed Abdel-Moati Hegazy to commemorate the great thinker Louis Awad, at 6 p.m.
The Egyptian Association of Young Artists, in cooperation with the Manial Palace Museum, holds the exhibition "Young Plastic Artists 2", in Mohammad Ali Palace in Manial
at 2:00 p.m.
The exhibition includes works of 100 male and female artists and will provide a group of artistic workshops in sculpture, oil painting, and graphics.
