Meena Ibrahim gives CineGounaBridge Master Class: Creating Worlds Through VFX on October 28

CAIRO - 29 October 2020: CineGounaBridge Master Class: Creating Worlds Through VFX by Meena Ibrahim took place on October 28.

As an animator, Ibrahim discussed in the panel how he manifests all that’s written on the page to the screen.

He added that world-building is perhaps one of, if not the most, intricate facets of crafting a story.

Ibrahim admitted that an animator must realise how this fantastical world will look like, from the movements, the colours and the aesthetics and so much more that goes into letting your imagination run wild, and utilising the power of virtual production to create ground-breaking visual effects.

He explained to the attendees all on how budding VFX artists can master the craft of world-building in ‘Creating World Through VFX’.

The veteran and award-winning Animation Supervisor Meena Ibrahim has worked on mega blockbusters such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and HBO’s His Dark Materials among several other major titles. His work all exude the whimsy and awe-inspiring magic that can be achieved through motion graphics.
