CAIRO – 27 October 2020: The Giza pyramids welcomed the children of Aswan and Cairo on the second day of the activities of the thirteenth week of the “People of Egypt” project for children (Cultural Integration) organized by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.

 

Ibtisam Abul Dahab, the tour guide, began her explanations of how the pyramids were built, and how its construction developed from an underground room to an above-ground terrace that includes one or two rooms, until it eventually ended up being one of the seven wonders of the world.

 

Abul Dahab also explained the stones used in building the pyramids, which were brought by ships and were cut and transported from the regions of Tora and the city of Aswan.

 

President of the General Authority for Culture Palaces Ahmed Awad visited the Children's Culture Palace in Garden City, to follow up the implementation of artistic and cultural workshops and to check on the children and the extent to which the workshops were appropriate to their abilities and creative tendencies.

 

Weaving, jewelry, printing, arching, copper lampshades and ceramic paste workshops were also held, in addition to the human theater rehearsals and black theater performances.
