13th Sama’a Int. Festival for Spiritual Music & Chanting kicks off Oct. 21

CAIRO – 20 October 2020: The 13th  Sama 'International Festival for Spiritual Music & Chanting will launch on October 21 at 6 p.m. at Bir Youssef theater in the Citadel of Salah al-Din, in the presence of a number of pioneers of cultural and artistic work, and members of the diplomatic corps in a number of participating countries.

The opening ceremony will witness an artistic workshop led by the artist Intisar Abdel Fattah, president and founder of the festival, where 20 participating bands will participate in the festival to present a global concert promoting world peace.

All the festival performances will be adhering to the imposed  precautionary measures against COVID-19, which may limit the number of attendees compared to the previous editions of the festival.
