CAIRO – 12 October 2020: On October 12, a number of cultural and artistic activities will be held in several creative centers, the most prominent of which are the Olive Workshop celebration of novelist Hala el-Badri, and the National Library’s symposium on the October War.
The Egyptian National Library and Archives will hold a symposium titled "National Memory and the October War" at 11 a.m. in its seminar hall.
Moreover, media personality Hala el-Sharouni will present at 1 p.m. in the cinema hall of the Talaat Harb Cultural Center, a group of tales and storytelling arts for children, in addition to screening a film about the October victory.
Also, the Greater Cairo Library is organizing a symposium entitled "Coronavirus between Science and Love" at 6 p.m. at the Library's headquarters in Zamalek.
The Olive Workshop is holding a celebration for the novelist Hala el-Badri at 7 p.m. to celebrate her literary career that spanned over forty years.
