Abdel Halim Nouira Ensemble for Arabic Music to celebrate October victory in Cairo Opera’s Grand Theater on Oct. 8

CAIRO – 6 October 2020: The Abdel Halim Nouira Ensemble for Arab Music, led by Maestro Ahmed Amer, presents a selection of patriotic works that expressed the victory of October, along with a bouquet of romantic compositions, on October 8 at 8 p.m. at Cairo Opera’s Grand Theater.

It is noteworthy that the Abdel Halim Nouira Ensemble was established in 1967 under the leadership of Maestro Abdel Halim Nouira under the name of the Arab Music Ensemble to revive the original singing heritage. The band presents traditional forms and various lyrical and musical forms for audiences and connoisseurs of Arabic music.

It also provided an opportunity for contemporary composers to present their quality productions from traditional music.
