CAIRO – 4 October 2020: A number of cultural and artistic events will be held in several creative centers and institutions on October 4, most notably the celebrations marking the 47th anniversary of the glorious October victory and the salon of poet Ahmed Abdel Moati Hegazy at the House of Arab Poetry.
Ziad Bakeer Musical Hall at the Cairo Opera House will host an exhibition entitled "Masryat" [Egyptology] by plastic artist Mona Ali Ragab at 7 p.m.
The House of Arab Poetry, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund, will hold the salon of the poet Ahmed Abdel Moati Hegazy at 7:30 p.m.
Also, the Freedom Center for Creativity in Alexandria, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund sector, is hosting a symposium to discuss Sarah Ziada's poem "Raw Pain" at 6:30 p.m.
The Cultural Production Sector, headed by director Khaled Galal, will hold its annual celebration of the glorious October victory anniversary at El-Hanager Theater. A group of the October war veterans as well as a number of artists who presented works on the victory will be honored in the celebration.
That is in addition to an exhibition entitled “October Victory in the Memory of the Egyptian Caricature” illustrating war-related incidents at 7 p.m. in Adam Hanin Hall.
