Awtar quartet to perform in Manasterly Palace on Sept. 13

CAIRO – 13 September 2020: The Manasterly Palace in Manial, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund sector, will host the concert of the quartet Awtar at the Summer Garden Theater on September 13 at 8 p.m. 

The quartet was formed in 2012 and includes artists Yasser Ghoneim and Khaled Saleh [Violin], Essam Abdel Hamid [Viola], and Mohamed Abdel Fattah [Cello].

The concert’s program includes a group of Egyptian, international and classical musical works, mixed with jazz, rock, tango, Latin and folk music.

The band presented their concerts mainly in at the opera houses of Cairo and Alexandria, El Sawy Culture Wheel, Cairo University, the American University, All Saints Cathedral, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and many cultural centers.

The band’s shows extended to a number of other cities around the country namely Mansoura, Tanta, Benha, Damietta, Luxor and Aswan.
