Veteran Egyptian actress Aida Kamel passes away at 89

CAIRO - 7 September 2020: Veteran Egyptian actress Aida Kamel has passed away at 89 after a long struggle with illness.

The renowned Egyptian actress has suffered from health problems in the stomach and colon.

She spent about 3 weeks in Dar el Fouad hospital after her health condition deteriorated.

Before her death Kamel asked her fans to pray for her  recovery.

Kamel repertoire houses a number of successful series such as ‘ Hawanem Garden City” ( Ladies of Garden City), “ El Les Alazy Ohebo” ( The Thief that I Love) among others.
