CAIRO – 3 September 2020: The Cultural Development Fund Sector will organize a concert for Resalet Salam [Message of Peace] band at Qubbat al-Ghoury in Al-Azhar St. on September 6 at 8 p.m.
The concert comes in cooperation with the Hewar Foundation for the Arts of Peoples' Cultures, headed by artist Intissar Abdel Fattah. All precautionary measures set by the state to battle the coronavirus will be applied in the concert.
The concert’s program includes a variety of religious hymns.
It is noteworthy that Intisar Abdel Fattah created many artistic groups and represented Egyptian art in a large number of festivals. He has also been honored in many local and international festivals and has received many international awards and certificates of appreciation. He is the son of the artist, art historian and journalist Abdel Fattah Ghaben.
The Cultural Development Fund has been able, over 25 years since its establishment in 1989, to play an effective and influential role in supporting and developing the cultural life in Egypt. It also worked on discovering young talents in various governorates, supporting them and putting them on the path of distinction and creativity.
