CAIRO – 27 August 2020: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem continues the implementation of the gradual return program for creative activities in Egypt at the theater of Al-Hanager Center for Arts and the Fountain Theater at the Cairo Opera House.

 

Abdel Dayem watched the theatrical shows “Otrok Anfi Men Fadlak” [Leave My Nose, Please] and Cinema Masr in the presence of  Khaled Galal, head of the Cultural Production Sector, and Magdy Saber, president of the Egyptian Opera House.

 

Abdel Dayem expressed her happiness at the public turnout for the various activities of the Ministry of Culture, in light of the safe attendance rate, which represents 25 percent of the capacity of the facilities and affiliated sites.

 

The minister highlighted the importance of adhering to the precautionary measures to avoid a second wave of coronavirus infections.

 

It is worth mentioning that "Leave My Nose, Please" is written and directed by Islam Imam, and mixes the famous story "Alice in Wonderland" and the novel "Conflicting Noses" in a family comedy discussing the issue of bullying. 

 

It also emphasizes the idea of supporting positive values in society, highlighting the value of friendship, love of goodness and accepting others.

 

As for the Cinema Masr show, it is the vision of and directed by Khaled Galal.  It includes 39 scenes from the history of Egyptian cinema, performed by 45 of the graduates of the second batch of the acting department of the Creativity Center's talent studio.
