'Personal Status' to be staged in Al-Hanager Theater on Aug. 27-29

CAIRO – 24 August 2020: Adel Hassan, director of the Youth Theater Troupe at the Art House, said that the theatrical play “Personal Status,” produced by the troupe, will be staged on Al-Hanager Arts Center in the Cairo Opera, as part of the “Awdet el-Rouh” program organized by the Cultural Production Sector, on August 27-29 at 8:30 p.m.

It is noteworthy that "Personal Status" deals with women's stories through actresses who recount the struggles that caused their transformation from human beings to statues. The stories deal with different groups and classes of society. 

Starring Lamia Jaafar and Nada Afifi and directed by Ashraf Hosni, the play also discusses the problems women face as a result of their oppression.
