Egyptian megastar Amr Diab announced that he will perform his 1st online concert this summer.
The specfic date of the concert will be announced soon.
Diab will perform a concert at New Alamein city on August 28.
Diab’s concert will be organized by Tazkarti company.
Diab’s latest song “ Amaken el Sahar” achieved booming success and topped Anghami.
Netflix announced a new project with the international megastar who will star in a new Arabic original series.
The new deal marks the return of the best-selling artist, also known as “Al Hadaba”, to drama 27 years after he played the role of "Adham" in the movie "Dehk Wele’b Wegad Wehob" opposite the late Omar el Sherif.
Amr Diab is the winner of 7 World Music Awards and 6 African Music Awards.

Diab’s song ‘ Ya Baldna ya Helwa’ trend number 1 on Anghami.
“Ya Baladna Ya Helwa” became #1 trending on YouTube after its release as it garnered more than half a million views within hours of its release.
The Egyptian megastar in the song promoted to a number of Egyptian touristic attractions, shedding the light on Egypt’s spirit, civilization, and historical places.
‘’ Ya Baldna Ya Helwa’’ is written by Tamer Hussein, and composed by Aziz Al-Shafi’i.
Diab performed a concert on February 28 in Al Manara Hotel.
After long years of hiatus, Diab performed a concert on Feb. 13 in Kuwait International Exhibitions Center.
Diab’s concert in Kuwait was his first live performance after releasing his new album “Sahran”.
The super star’s last concert in Kuwait was held in 2015 during the “Hala February” Festival. The Egyptian star performed numerous mass-concerts in Kuwait throughout his career.
Amid a huge turnout from fans, Diab performed a huge concert in KSA on Feb. 8, presenting many of his most popular hits, in addition to songs from his newest album.
The mega star also recently performed a massive concert in Duba’s Media City, witnessing a huge turnout from fans.
He participated in MDL Beast Festival that kicked off on December 19-21 in Saudi Arabia.
Diab recently was featured by Spotify on a massive billboard in the heart of Times Square with the tagline “This is Amr Diab”.
In 2016, Diab became the first Egyptian and Arab artist to break a Guinness World Record for the number of World Music Awards he achieved.
It is worth mentioning that Diab performed live in Jeddah at King Abdullah Sports City on June 10 and performed a massive concert recently at Riyadh season.
Also, Diab, famed British singer James Arthurand famed Turkish record producer Mahmut Oran performed in the grand ceremony of the American University in Cairo's centennial anniversary.
Diab was the most listened to singer on Anghami in 2018; his album “Kol Hayati” (All My Life) was listened to a record number of times. Diab adopted a new marketing strategy to promote his albums where he releases a new song almost every week.
Diab collaborated with several poets, composers and distributers in his recent albums, including Tarek Madkour, Ayman Bahgat Amar, Nader Hamdy, Amr Mostafa and Ahmed el-Malky, Tamer Hussein among others.
He is a Guinness world record holder, best selling middle eastern artist, 7 times winner of world music awards, 5 platinum record awards and 6 African music awards.
Born in 1961 in Port Said, Diab has risen to fame over the past two decades in the Arab world and continues to break sale records, according to a BBC report and his official Facebook page.
His most famous album, “Nour el-Ain” (Our Eyes Beam), brought him international recognition and earned him the title of “The Father of Mediterranean Music” for his style of blending Egyptian and western rhythms.
The mega star, who founded the record company Mediterranean Music, had his songs translated into seven different languages.
Diab received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Big Apple Music Awards in 2009. At the 2014 World Music Awards, Diab was also awarded Best Egyptian Artist, Best Male Arab Artist and World Best Arab Male Artist Voted Online.
Diab’s first album, “Ya Tareeq” (The Path), was released in 1983. His album “Meaddy El-Nas” (Surpassing People) was released in July 2017, following a major viral promotion campaign across Cairo sponsored by Egypt Linx.
Diab has established himself as an acclaimed recording artist in most Mediterranean countries. According to a research by Michael Frishkopf, he has created his style termed as "Mediterranean Music", a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms.
The journey of Amr Diab’s music has been one of growing musical excellence since the beginning. His albums have topped the international charts and many of his songs were translated into several languages.
Five of his albums topped Billboard’s global top ten hits, in addition to winning many international awards during his career; Amr Diab is the first Arab singer to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, where he was recorded as the first Arab singer to receive the largest number of international music awards for most album sales in the Middle East.
In 2014, Amr Diab received the World Music Awards, and won three awards, as Best Egyptian Artist, Best Male Arab Artist, and Best-selling Arab Album (El Leila) being the only Arab singer who has achieved this, he was also voted World’s Best Arab Male Artist.
