CAIRO – 18 August 2020: Archaeologist Zahi Hawass said that no one has ever reported anything to the General Prosecutor against him or against Mamdouh al-Damati.
He confirmed that National Geographic had produced a documentary film about King Tutankhamun, adding that all studies were conducted by an Egyptian team, and that there is no indication that Tutankhamun was Hebrew.
Hawass added that an Egyptian team at the highest level, headed by Yahya Gad, Ashraf Salim, Sahar Selim and many other Egyptian scientists, conducted studies on royal mummies.
According to Hawass, this was published in many scientific articles, as well as in a book titled "Scanning The Pharaohs", which revealed no indication that there is any Egyptian king of Hebrew origin.
Tutankhamun was scientifically proven to have been Egyptian, born to an Egyptian queen, who was the daughter of King Amenhotep III and Queen Tiye.
Archaeologist Hussein Abdel-Basir, director of the Antiquities Museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, added that there is no evidence that Kiya is the mother of King Tutankhamun and that Kiya is not even Hebrew, but Metanic.
Abdel-Basir added that Tutankhamun's opera explains that there is a priest from the followers of Amun who wanted to kill Prince Tutankhamun after he assumed power, but Queen Nefertiti, with the help of a loyal Nubian, rescued him.
Ali Abu Dashish, an expert in Egyptian archeology, mentioned that there is a person who specializes in urology who says things that are not based on evidence and that if he had read Zahi Hawass’ books published in English, he would know the truth, but instead he is spreading the ideas of a non-specialist who lives in London.
According to Abu Dashish, that person is the one who announced that King Tutankhamun and other pharaohs are Hebrews!
