Egyptian movie ‘Taw’am Rouhy’ to be released in cinemas on August 19

CAIRO – 9 August 2020: Egyptian movie "Taw’amRouhy" (Soulmate) will be released in Egyptian cinemas on August 19.

The events of the romantic-comedy movie revolve around a strong love story between a young couple who faces many problems and obstacles that make their love impossible.

“Taw’am Rouhy” stars Hassan el Radadd, AminaKhalil, and Aicha Ben Ahmed among others.

The movie is written by Amina el-Tounsy, directed by Osman Abo Laban and produced by Ahmed el-Sobky.

In a similar context, Egyptian movie “El Ghassala” (Washing Machine) garnered revenues that exceeded LE7,000,000 since its initial on July 30.

“El Ghassala” was the only Egyptian movie to screenin cinemas in Eid el-Adha season.

Released by New Century Productions, MisrInternational Films, and Synergy Films, the new Sci-Fi is now available in cinemas across Egypt and the Arab world.

The film stars Mahmoud Hemida, Ahmed Hatem and Hannah el-Zahed, along with Mohamed Sallam, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Fathy and Taher AbouLeila. Mohamed Tharwat, Mahmoud el-Leithy and Ali el-Tayeb appear as guests of honor, and SherinReda makes a special cameo appearance.

Written by Adel Salib and directed by Essam Adel Hamid, "El-Ghassala" tells the story of Omar who uses the washing machine to get rid of the obstacles that drive a wedge between him and his girlfriend.

The film marks the second collaboration between Ahmed Hatem and Hannah el-Zahed, after "Love Story" that was released on Valentine's Day 2019 and achieved huge success in Egyptian cinemas.

"El Ghassala" is distributed regionally by Dollar Film, and internationally by N Star.
