MBC Masr channel to release the plays of Masrah Masr new season starting August 7

CAIRO - 7 August 2020: MBC Masr channel will release Masrah Masr last season plays starting Friday, August 7 at 8 pm.

The first play entitled “ Ya Ma Namo” which is directed by Masrah Masr founder Egyptian star Ashraf Abdel Baky.

It is worth mentioning that Egyptian play "Sabahia Mobarka" launched its shows in Eid el Adha.

The comic play stars Ali Rabiea, Mohamed Osama (Osos), Hossam Dagher, and is directed by Ashraf Abdel Baky. 

This is the first play for Abdel Baky , Rabie and Osos after the famous Egyptian theatrical troupe, “MasarahMasr” announced the end of its shows.

Masrah Masr is considered a uniquely successful theatrical experience, led by Abdel Baky. 

The show presented a new one-act play written and directed by Nader Salah el-Din, every week.

Abdel Baky previously said that when “Masrah Masr” was first launched the idea of relying on new actors every week was his brainchild.

Abdel Baky added that people in the beginning thought he was crazy to take such a risk. 

However, he stressed that the team has always compliedwith the theater rules. 

New faces presented by Abdel Baky during past seasons have all become well-known stars.

“Masrah Masr” members include Ali Rabie, MostafaKhater, Hamdy el Marghany,Osos, Dina Mohasen(Wizoo) and Esraa Abdel Fattah, among others.

It is worth mentioning that Abdel Baky established an artistic project entitled “Saudi Arabia Theater” in Jeddah with the support of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority.

The project came as part of the cultural openness project adopted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman.
