Egypt’s Acting Professions Syndicate stands in solidarity with Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra

CAIRO – 19 July 2020: The Egyptian Acting Professions Syndicate represented in its board of directors and its president expressed their deep appreciation for the veteran artist, Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra, one of the symbols of Arab acting.

According to the syndicate, Abu Zahra excelled in presenting the most difficult, most wonderful, and the most enjoyable acting roles throughout his long artistic career, whether in theater, cinema or television.

The syndicate affirms that it will not accept any attempt of any kind to undermine Egypt's artistic symbols, whether by statement, reference, or allusion.

It also warns everyone trying to do so of dire consequences, stressing that the syndicate will never allow this behavior to pass unpunished. The syndicate also stresses its full solidarity with the iconic artist, stemming from its complete conviction that Egyptian artistic icons must be protected.
