Egypt's Culture minister mourns choreographer Mahmoud Reda

CAIRO - July 10 (MENA) – Minister of Culture Inas Abdul Dayem mourned veteran Egyptian dancer and choreographer Mahmoud Reda, who passed away on Friday at the age of 90.

 

Egypt lost one of the "folk dance legends", whose choreographs enjoyed unique spirits of the Egyptian folklore, Abdul Dayem said.

 

Mahmoud Reda, with his troupe, managed to become one of Egypt’s soft power ambassadors globally, the minister added.
