CAIRO, July 9 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed the 1st edition of a series of books published by the Culture Ministry under the title "Memory of the City" which was gifted to him by Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem.

 
The first book of the series carries the title: "Zamalek Island.. value and heritage"
 
"Memory of the City" book series initiative is a humanitarian and historical message that aims at preserving the features of the nation's civilization and documenting the architectural identity of ancient areas in Egypt and monitoring the social conditions of its past inhabitants.
 
The 1st book talked about the history of Zamalek Island and its urban development.
 
Madbouli lauded the efforts exerted by the Culture Ministry to revive the Egyptian heritage and civilization.
