Egyptian Min. of Culture releases documentary film about Abu Simbel Temples

CAIRO – 7 July 2020: The Giza Culture Palace presented on Tuesday - within the initiative of the Ministry of Culture "Culture Is between Your Hands", a documentary film about the Abu Simbel Temples in Aswan.

The Abu Simbel Temples, located southwest of Aswan, come among the most beautiful archaeological temples in Egypt. The Temples were built by King Ramses II to commemorate the king's victory in the Battle of Kadesh.

The Ministry of Culture offers many cultural activities and artistic performances on the ministry's official social media outlets under the slogan “Culture is between Your Hands” since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, to encourage the public to stay at home while enjoying a diverse cultural and artistic content.
