Essad Younis in hot water because of ‘Fetzahia’

CAIRO – 4 July 2020: Egyptian star Essad Younis was severely criticised over a post she wrote on her official Facebook page entitled ‘’Fetzahia’’.  

 In ‘’Fetzahia’’ -which she confirmed was a true story- Younis narrated the story of a rural girl who works as a maid and does not perform her job very well that’s why she was fired. 

The famed actress, writer, producer and TV presenter described how the girl looked like in way that the most saw unhuman, full of sarcasm and bullying. 

Despite the explanations and the political projections pertaining to 30 June revolution in the post, the majority of social media users severely attack and criticise Younis the matter that pushed her to quickly delete the post.
