Egypt’s Watch iT to release its 1st production ‘Shadeed el-Khotora’ on July 1

CAIRO – 22 June 2020: Egyptian digital platform Watch iT announced that it will release its first production "Shadeed el-Khotora" (Very Dangerous).

The series is the first original production of the platform and will be released via WATCH iT ORIGINAL.

The suspense and action series tackles the hackers and the risk they pose to national security.

"Shadeed el-Khotora", which highlights how hackers harm state institutions, was shot using the latest techniques of photography.

The seven-episode action series stars Egyptian star Ahmed el-Awady, who embodies the role of a young engineer working in the field of electronic crime, and chasing a professional gang, to go through many dangerous situations and confrontations.

Besides Awady, the series houses a notable group of Egyptian stars such as Reem Mustafa, Reyad el-Khouly, and Nahed Roushdy among others.

"Shadeed el-Khotora" is written by Mohamed Sayed Beshir and directed by Hossam Aly.



United Media Services Group, headed by Tamer Morsi launched Watch iT in 2019.

Many experts have spoken about the need to pay attention to digital content and digital media services; subsequently, the platform was launched.

This platform can be accessed either by through www.watchit.com or by installing the online app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

To use the application on smart screens or the web browser interface, the user registers by his/ her email and cell phone number before receiving a message on the provided number to complete registration in one step.

Watch iT digital platform also enables users to subscribe using either credit cards or cash payment.
