Mahmoud Masood dies at 68

CAIRO - 11 June 2020: Veteran actor Mahmoud Masood died early Thursday in a hospital in Abbasiya of a circulatory collapse and some chest diseases.

Masood's last artistic role was in the series "Le Akher Nafas", starring Yasmine Abdel Aziz, which screened in Ramadan 2019.

The late actor has participated in many important television series throughout his career, including "Gomhoriyat Zefta", "Umm Kulthum", "Afrah Iblis", "Ragol el-Aqdar", "Haret el-Yahud", "Awalem Khafeya", "Donya Gedida", among others.

Masood also took part in many important Egyptian films, including "Hob Fe El Zenzana", "Al-Motamared", and "Ekhtart Hayati".
