Sherine Abdel Wahab denies COVID-19 infection

CAIRO - 8 June 2020: Famed Egyptian star Sherine Abdel Wahab denied her infection with COVID-19, or that she suffers of any symptoms, confirming that they are just ridiculous rumors that have no basis.

In statements made to the press, Abdel Wahab stated that she is in good health and does not suffer any COVID-19 symptoms.

Rumors emerged on Sunday that Abdel Wahab had contracted the new coronavirus and is suffering some symptoms, which prompted her to go to the hospital to undergo medical tests.

The result of the first test came positive, which caused Abdel Wahab and her family to go in a state of panic before requesting to undergo a second test, which came out negative. To confirm the result, it was said that Abdel Wahab requested a third test, but the result is yet to be disclosed.
