Abdel Dayem to launch 'Memory of Creativity' documentary films

CAIRO - 3 June 2020: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will launch a series of documentary films titled "The Memory of Creativity" on the Ministry of Culture’s official YouTube channel starting June 3.

"Memory of Creativity" comes within the e-initiative "Stay At Home. Culture is Between Your Hands."

On June 3 at 9 p.m., the movie "Knight of Shadow and Light" will be broadcast. The documentary illustrates the artistic career of the director of cinematography Ramses Marzouk and his most important works.

Abdel Dayem stated that the series includes a set of documentary films portraying biographies of the symbols of thought, art and literature. She added that she aims to introduce the the eternal symbols who wrote the history of Egyptian creativity to the new generations.

The minister of culture affirmed the continuation of efforts to develop society and spread awareness through the various tools of soft powers.

The film will be preceded at 8:30 p.m. with a lecture from the workshop program “Begin Your Dream” for preparing young actors.
