CAIRO - 26 May 2020: The Egyptian Ministry of Culture will broadcast on its official YouTube channel a concert for famed Iraqi star Kazem el-Saher on May 26 at 9 p.m. to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

The concert comes as part of the e-initiative “Stay At Home. Culture is Between Your Hands.”

Saher, also known as the “Caesar of Arabic singing” as dubbed by the legendary poet Nizar Qabbani, is one of the most famous singers of the Arab world. He is also an exceptional songwriter and composer who masters playing several musical instruments.

Saher managed to sell 100 million copies of various albums and set a record for attracting the highest ever turnout of fans at Arab singing concerts.

The star recently released a new single, "Ah We Ahin", which is composed by the musician Talal and written by Kazem el-Saher. It is the song he decided to dedicate to his Arab fans on the last Valentine's Day.

Iraqi singer Kazem el-Saher has released a new version of his national song, “Salam Alaik” [Peace Be Upon You], which came with a melody that slightly differs from the previous melody of the song.
