Why Egyptian series 'Kheyanet Ahd' trends on Twitter ?

CAIRO - 8 May 2020: Egyptian series Kheyanet Ahd became the number one trend on Twitter after the dazzling performance of superstar Yousra ( Ahd), Hala Shiha ( Farah), Khaled Anwar ( Hesham) and Joumana Mourad ( Sherine) in Episode 14 which witnessed the death of Hesham.

When Hesham discovered that Farah was behind his drug addiction,he was extremely shocked.
Farah tried to stop him from telling Ahd so he fell on the floor, and was severely injured when Sherine tried to rescue him , Farah stopped her and said that he will die anyway because his heart beats are too slow and she asked Sherine to inject him with drugs and they both threw his corpse in the street to appear as if he died from overdose.

Yousra pushed all the audience to cry with her and feel the deep grief she felt because of the loss of her son.

She brilliantly performed the denial status of a mother who refuses to accept her son death.

Yousra Shiha, Anwar and Mourad acting performance in this episode made the series tops Twitter trend in Egypt.

Anwar gave an amazing performance to the extent that a large segment of the series fans announced that after Hisham’s death, there is no need to continue watching the rest of the series.

Anwar is not just a very talented actor, his performance is catchy, credible and has strong charisma that attracts you to the character he is embodying.



‘’ Kheyanet Ahd’’ witnessed the comeback of Hearthrob Yousra after one year of hiatus as she wasn’t competing in the Ramadan series marathon in 2019.

Yousra is one of the favourite Ramadan stars, that is why her fans missed her last year and were so eager to watch her comeback this year with ‘’ Kheyanet Ahd’’.

Ahd ( Yousra) is a woman who owns a clothing factory and is always busy with her work in addition to solving her sister Farah ( Hala Shiha) and her brother Marwan ( Khaled Sarhan) problems, neglecting her son Hesham ( Khaled Anwar), who resorts to drugs and becomes addicted.

The lady who encouraged him to take drugs named Sherine ( Gomana Mourad) who is many years older than him and he is in love relationship with.

The events of the series develop between Ahd and her family within a normal social framework until we discover that Farah who is strongly attached to her nephew Hesham was the one behind his ordeal as she gave money to Sherine to make him fall in love with her and to give him drugs.

We discovered also that Marwan is plotting against his sister Ahd to harm her work and factory, all of these Ahd knows nothing about as she believe that her younger brother and sister love her as she does.

The reason behind Farah and Marwan strong hatred to Ahd is that her mother, used to deal with her stepchildren Farah and Marwan in a very cruel way so they decided to make Ahd pay the bill of her mother mistakes despite the love she carries for them.

Each episode witnesses a new conspiracy against Ahd which she knows nothing about,like a scene where Farah was injecting Hesham with drugs while he is sleeping to worsen his drug addiction and another for Marwan plotting with Ahd’s competitor to harm her work.
