CAIRO - 26 April 2020: Within the e-initiative of Egyptian Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, “Stay at home. Culture is between your hands”, the General Egyptian Book Organization will present legendary Mahmoud al-Khatib's symposium in 2018's Cairo International Book Fair.

The symposium will be available on GEBO’s official channel on YouTube at 9 p.m. on April 27.

GEBO’s official YouTube channel will broadcast numerous symposiums for Egyptian icons in numerous fields that took place throughout the past three decades in the various editions of the Cairo International Book Fair.

Ahmed Bahy el-Din, the vice-president of GEBO, said that the visual archive of the seminars of great Egyptian personalities has been successively made available to the initiative's audience.

Bahy el-Din further clarified that the symposiums available within the initiative took place between 1988 and 2018.

Also, downloading special publications of the GEBO is possible through the Ministry of Culture’s official website.

The visual archive package available for broadcasting during the month of Ramadan includes the contributions of Saad el-Din Wahba, Mahmoud Yassin, Abdel Rahman el- Abnoudi, Yousra, Syed Hegab, Makram Mohamed Ahmed, Farouk Gweida, Yehya el Fakhrani, Ahmed Zewail, Naguib Mahfouz and Anis Mansour.
