CAIRO - 20 April 2020: Cairo Show Theater, the producer of “Aladdin”, “King Lear”, “Talat Ayam Fel Sahel” and “Hazalqum” plays, announced launching an initiative to support new talents through the "Cairo Show ... Show Us Your Talent" competition .
It is an online acting, singing and dancing competition, which is open to all ages and all contestants from the Arab countries. The competition comes under the slogan “Cairo Show: Your House, Your Theater”.
During the contest, participants can show their talents without leaving their home. All shows and interaction with the stars of the Cairo Show can be done online throughout the month of Ramadan.
Director Magdy el-Hawary explained that the competition aims to encourage talented people to make good use of the long periods they currently spend at home- as part of the house quarantine imposed by the state- to showcase their creative energies and realize their dreams.
The prominent director further clarified that the competition will take place during. In the general auditions that will take place throughout the competition, each contestant will present a video of his/her choice to highlight their talent.
Hawary indicated that starting the second week of the competition, the various challenges will be announced on the social media platforms of the competition, and on its official YouTube channel.
Magdy el-Hawary pointed out that the challenges will be inspired by the huge works of Cairo Show. During the competition’s period, Cairo Show experts and their stars will perform the elimination process and select the winning candidates. The winners' names will be announced after Eid al-Fitr.
As for the prizes of the contest, Hawary explained that winners will be granted double prizes. They will enroll in professional training workshops moderated by the Cairo Show experts and their stars.
In addition to that, the winners will join Cairo Show’s new theatrical performances as actors, singers and show dancers.
